My name is Tanya and I was raised in Massachusetts and am a transplant Rhody (Rhode Islander) although growing up so close to the border and having family in Providence I’ve always had a little bit of Rhody in me. I moved here when my husband and I got our first place together as a couple in 2011. We’ve been married since 2013 and have two adorable kids together Sage and Atlas. I also was blessed to add his two children from his first marriage to my family and I love them dearly.
We live a pretty “average” life if you ask me. My husband Steve works in Finish Carpentry/Millwork and my main job is as a Stay at Home Mother, I do work part time at H&R Block during tax season and I love it, but my most important jobs are mom and wife😍
A dream of mine has always been to start a blog, and after my sons diagnosis with congenital glaucoma I decided now was the time. I want to share our story , the everyday regular stuff but also the ins and outs of living as a family with a child that has a rare condition ( 1 in 10,000 odds according to the Glaucoma Research Foundation). So far it’s been a very interesting journey and I want to share our story with world.
So thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy following us.
